These are individual pieces of real stone. Our samples are typically ~1 SF flat thin veneer, either loose pieces of stone in a box, or glued to a panel for display. In bulk, this product is sold PSF (flat stone) and PLF (L-Shaped corner pieces).
Blackstone Ridge is a geologically expressive blend defined by strong tonal contrast and natural mineral variation. Composed of light limestone matrices punctuated by darker, iron- and carbon-rich stone, the blend exhibits a classic Dalmatian patterning created by contrasting sedimentary deposits. Lighter stones provide continuity and reflectivity, while the darker inclusions introduce rhythm, scale reference, and visual anchoring. This contrast gives façades depth without disorder, making the blend especially effective across broad wall planes and multi-elevation designs. Architecturally, Blackstone Ridge translates exceptionally well into both traditional and transitional forms. It recalls the stonework found throughout Yorkshire, where early cottage construction relied on mixed quarry yields laid intentionally rather than homogenized. The result is stone that feels studied yet organic, expressive yet disciplined, and well suited for custom homes, estate residences, and thoughtfully designed residential or commercial projects.
