RealCast Board-Form Panel — Charcoal
The Board-Form Panel captures the vertical grain of poured-in-place concrete cast against rough sawn lumber — deep, honest wood-grain relief with a matte concrete finish. Cast in fiber-reinforced lightweight concrete, at a fraction of the weight of poured-in-place.
The Charcoal colourway is a deep graphite grey — moody, contemporary, and reads darker than any of the greys against warm timber.
Each box covers 16.65 square feet. Screws to the substrate through the built-in nailing flange — no adhesive, no wet trades. Panels lock together with a shiplap edge; cuts trim clean with a fine-tooth wood blade.

What sets it apart:
The vertical wood-grain relief is cast off real board-form concrete masters, not sculpted — the difference from foam-and-paint tile shows up in raking light. Real fiber-reinforced concrete, at roughly a fifth of the weight of poured-in-place. One quiet spec point: RealCast is cast with CSA cement rather than the standard Portland used across the field. CSA cement is shrinkage-compensating — the panels come out flatter and hold dimensional stability through the cure, so what leaves the mould matches what sits on the pallet. CSA cement production also runs up to 60% lower embodied CO₂ than Portland cement production, per the mill data sheet on file.
Good to know:
Best over a laser-lined first course — the vertical grain reads cleanest plumb. Fiber-reinforced concrete; cut wet with a respirator on, and expect a heavier panel than a poly veneer. Tested to ASTM E84 — Flame Spread 0, Smoke Developed 0 (Class A results); Intertek report on request. Standard lead time is 3–4 weeks — the panel is cast when the order is placed.
